Spontaneous Post

Yup, its me. Been gone since June 4.

Had a great summer, back to work (part-time only).

Preparing for Lins and J to leave for Ethiopia. Keep us all in your prayers. Yes, they will be on their journey-pray for safety, good health, no problems with flights or visa's or whatever they might encounter and for the G's journey to pick them up and their time together, and I will be back here, me and God, on my knees alot, but thats all good. That's exactly where He wants me. I'm actually excited (some) for them, they get to see their dear friends and their children.

Hope everyone survived the flood. Its been a crazy time for alot of people. Some people I know are in a real need of some serious prayer. A lady I know, found out some very disturbing things about her husband, some major things, in addition to him wiping out her bank account. (Don't worry, I don't believe any of you guys know them). His name was Danny and for those of us who remember ANOTHER danny, in a not-so-good light, it was very disturbing.

Bill and I are doing great. This is one of those times in our lives where we are like two well-oiled machines, working and living great together in most areas. It is a blessing and I am enjoying this season. Many seasons in our lives weren't like that, so I am blessed and grateful to be in this one. ..Not to mention, I love him very much!

We've been doing a bible study with my sisters, daughter and neice. My sister Sandy has been
tuning in via speaker phone which is alot of fun. I've loved every minute.

I'm still running. Can't believe I love it! I'm running the Thanksgiving Day run at Iroquois Park on Thanksgiving morning. Its always been a tradition, usually I walk with my friend, but this year I'll be running. If nothing shuts down by then in the body department.

Go your way...And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength
Nehemiah 8:10

I need to meditate more on that one sometimes!

See you in about 3-4 months. I'll try to do better.
